Rowdy as ever, chatting, drinking and general antics ensued as Cassandra stood at the top of the stairs, leading to her chambers, as well as dorms of some of the higher ranking members of the guild. She stared down at the entry way below that had long ago been opened to what was once a drawing room, now acting more like a bar and hang out area. She couldn't help but smile a little bit at everyone here, at the life they brought to this guild. Petra ran around as busy as ever trying to get food and drink to everyone. She was sure the cooks in the back were also working hard, trying to serve breakfast for those getting up late. It was nearly ten in the morning, but for some of her guild members that didn't matter. She was sure there was still a few more that wouldn't show themselves until noon at least.
In her hands, Cassandra had a small stack of papers, new contracts to go up on the board. Contracts were generally posted for everyone to see, then when a group decided that they wanted to take that contract they would bring it up to her for approval. The latest batch was certainly an interesting one, but one that Cassandra imagined there would be plenty of interest in. It certainly did challenge their willingness to do anything, a motto that she took pride in.
When the new listings were posted. Cassandra found her way behind the bar area where she helped with some clean up and greeted various members that approached. While she didn't find herself fully working the bar, she liked the chance to interact with the guild members and found this was usually the least intimidating way to do so. "New contracts are up for whoever is interested. Remember to never go alone, and get the contract approved before heading out. For you newer members, don't be afraid to ask some of the more experienced members to go with you, that is what they are here for after all." Cassandra called out after a few conversations, just to make sure that everyone knew what was going on.
Was she just supposed to walk in? She tried to knock, but it seemed like no one heard her, they probably couldn't over the general noise that she could hear from inside. Silvia stared at the large doors of the castle like guild hall, a small bag clutched in her hands. She let out another long sighing breath. "I can do this. It is a guild after all, they are open to the public.... but maybe it is too early still? Is this too early, it is well into the morning..." Silvia looked up at the sky, trying to judge the time again. She found her heart pounding far harder than it should. Why was she so nervous? She was so sure when she left home. But then again... no, she shouldn't think about that, not now.
With one more breath Silvia found herself rubbing her side. After all it reminded her of why she was there. Slowly she pushed open the heavy doors, finding that they were blocking out quite a bit of the noise from the inside. It was overwhelming, but now that the doors were open, could she really just turn and run away? Of course she couldn't, if someone followed than it would just be worse. Her steps were slow as she entered into the guild hall, and was immediately greeted by a grand staircase, and to is right, rows of tables with all manner and age of people, none who seemed to notice her, at least not right away. Over the noise she vaguely heard a female voice talking, but it was distant and she couldn't discern the words. Perhaps if she ventured further in, but... no, she couldn't. She would just stay there.
